On the Road with Roxanne
It's been a fun and busy year with my former business, Back
by Popular Demand, now morphed into MAINE
PEACE WORKS.
Last summer and fall I sold my wares at several demonstrations,
fairs and festivals around Maine and the Northeast. This year
will be just as much fun. Look for me this summer at the events
listed below and check back regularly for new postings.
WERU Full Circle Fair.
July 25-27, 2008 Blue Hill Fairgrounds.
Something new - I've been learning to metalsmith
the last few years; I've always had a "thing" for sterling
silver, and yes,... I've now fallen in love with copper...and
the smell, feel and touch of beautiful metals.
I am so fortunate to have Donna Tumosa of Ladysmith
Studio as my teacher. And so, I am now offering
metal, hand forged, original pieces.
I am very happy to announce that MAINE
PEACE WORKS is now in several stores around
Maine:
Downtown Bangor
- visit Metropolitan Soul
in Westmarket Square.
Uptown Bangor
- visit Sunrich Tanning Boutique
on Union Street (across from Dunkin' Donuts).
Augusta - visit
Cosmic Charlie's
on Water Street down by the Kennebec River; Cosmic Charlie's
is expanding to a new, larger location down the street later
this summer.
Trenton - Bar
Harbor Road - visit The Country
Store and their wonderful wine shop and "Made
in Maine" store.

Maine and the Northeast -- just to name a few.
